About the ACT Test

The ACT is a standardized high school achievement test that is a common alternative to the SAT Reasoning Test. While the SAT is popular on the East and West Coast, the ACT has gained popularity in the Midwestern and Southern United States. Depending on the state, the ACT is offered between four and six times a year starting in September and continuing into June.

Many students and their parents consider ACT tutoring because it provides test-taking strategies and gives students exposure to ACT-style test questions. This can give students additional confidence on test day.
